WMMR: Locks of Love Video Production

video synopsis by: Gabriel A.

WMMR is not always about doing silly, or rather stupid things in public. They are just being themselves. Being as themselves, they also have a heart. As a matter of fact, WMMR has a kind heart for everyone and this is one good example of how passionate WMMR and all its fans can be.

This video production is an event on 93.3 WMMR for Locks of Love, where fans, staffs, and anyone can participate to donate their hair for the unfortunate people who need them most. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization based on the United States of America who gives wigs to children who lost their hair due to their medical condition in United States and Canada. They accept donations of human hair and money to make more wigs. Locks of Love goes all around United States non-profitably to achieve this goal. When they reached Philadelphia, 93.3 WMMR was proud to help the organization in fulfilling their goal. So WMMR decided to start the event Locks of Love and announced it on radio along with this subsequent video production.

Not so many people know about the organization and how they can help, but with WMMR’s help in broadcasting it on radio, they were overwhelmed by large number of people who are willing to help and sacrifice their long hair to reach out to the children who needs them most. It’s amazing to see people who’ve been caring for their hair to get that long but were willing to give it to charity when the Locks of Love organization came without any second thoughts.

Watch as Kathy Romano donates her hair for the Locks of Love organization as well as the other charitable people of Philadelphia. Can a beard really be made as a wig? I guess if the wearer doesn’t know the difference. But it is for charity, and the thought counts more. And one more thing I noticed inside the video, I think a guy actually felt sad at seeing his hair cut off. His eyes looked a bit wet.

This great video production is made possible by Janis Digital Media for 93.3 WMMR. If you need to avail their video production services, just contact them through the website.
