93.3 WMMR: Spanksgiving Day Parade Video Production

synopsis by: Gabriel A.

Ever heard of 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia? It is long-time running radio stations that plays mainly or should I say, only, underground rock music and the latest and/or chart-topping hits from the rock legends as well. They have invented events for the Phillies to participate on that became annual events that Philadelphia residents excitingly await for. To name a few are: MMRBQ; Cardboard Classic; and HWR. This is one of the numerous events and functions that WMMR had made over the course of time and it is called Spanksgiving Day caught on this video production by Janis Digital Media.

This was the time of the day when no turkeys were sacrificed for humans to feast on. Although it rhymes with Thanksgiving Day, this event has nothing to do with that and is literally and solely a different event for everyone to celebrate on, which in this case; they merrily celebrated on. This was the much anticipated day that Phillies gathered into the WMMR parking lot and started marching the parade all across town. Freaks, fire breathers, sexy girls on rollerblades, green man, red man, and all other sorts of costumes merrily parade across town and gave spanks to everyone who sees. This was a fun event for everyone in Philadelphia where a lot of freaks, I mean, people participated wearing their favorite costumes and just being themselves as freaks. Freaks, but in a creative way and sense. In definition, freaks are anything highly unusual or irregular, but never in the dictionary that the word freak is defined as bad.

Being a freak, however, is somehow unacceptable for some people. What they need to realize is that great fashion clothes came from the creative minds of freaks who thinks rather out of the box. All scientists and mathematicians were called freaks during childhood before they were cool. So being a freak is a good thing, and getting to spend some time and parade with other freaks is better. 93.3 WMMR Preston and Steve Show should really do this more often. One more thing to add, this is NOT a cosplay event: a cosplay event is where people dress up like their favorite comic or cartoon (or anime) character and act like them, this event however, is just literally dressing up as whatever outfit they wanted to. Overall a great event and an even better video production by Janis Digital Media of Philadelphia, PA.

  2. A wonderful beneficial of receiving kids linked to charity is that often it keeps in them a group sensation as well as a feeling of charity.
